Looking for 2011 Senior Reps

The New Year

2010 is definitely going to be a busy one. This is my first year going into wedding photography and I already have 7 weddings booked.  I still plan on keeping up with my senior photography as well as family sessions.  I am extremely excited to be working with so many new people this year and I can't wait to capture their memories for them.

On top of everything else, I have launched a new website last week that I am slowly getting up on the web.  I have the bulk of my info on their now but I will slowly be adding things over the next several weeks.  So please check in once in a while to see the new changes!

Baby Boy or Baby Girl?

Brandi and Jared are expecting a little one by the end of January.  Deciding to not know the sex of the baby we are all anxiously awaiting the big day to see their little bundle of joy!  We took these pics in her mom's house with natural lighting.

Erica and Dustin

We froze our fingers a little bit Sunday morning but we got their engagement pictures taken.  Dustin will be leaving after the new year for 13 weeks of military training.  When he comes back for a few day break, Erica and him will say, "I Do," before leaving to go south and stay on base.  Erica is hoping to follow him shortly after with her two girls.  So if you know these two give them Congrats on their Big Day! Busy Time

I love the holidays because it seems like you are busy constantly doing this or that.  Visiting family, baking, wrapping presents, shopping, etc.  But at the same time it can seem like a lot of work!  Just remember that around the holidays it is important to spend time with the people that matter the most to us and put 'normal' life to the side.  I know that most of you will have your cameras ready to capture moments while you celebrate but take a step back and take a mental image of everything around you.  It may begin to mean more than the photo that you just took.  The photo will help bring back you mental image of this year but if you don't take in the memory, the photo will be just a photo.

Holidays are Here!

Everyone is getting ready for the holidays now so things get really busy really fast!  I am putting together several Christmas card orders this weekend which is always fun.  I am also busy setting up appointments for 2010 weddings.  I am hoping to be pretty well booked this year so that I can stay busy between them and senior portraits this coming up season.

Winter is Coming

I finally sat down and realized that I have been so busy that I haven't been posting at all on this blog.  Instead, I have been trying to keep my website up to date and editing photos.  I had a great summer with everyone and stayed fairly busy considering I had a little girl in August!  So of course, I'm sure you all understand for not keeping this up to date.  I will be trying to add some new images of customers from this summer shortly.
